Wall of Military Gratitude
In celebration of America’s 250th anniversary, International Porcelain Artists and Teachers, Inc. (IPAT) is proud to announce a collaborative project with the National Endowment for the Arts, the Texas Commission on the Arts, and the City of Grapevine: The Wall of Military Gratitude.
Launching this Veteran’s Day, the community is invited to participate in creating a moving tribute to America’s military. Visitors to the IPAT Museum of Porcelain Art will have the opportunity to decorate a 4" x 4" tile at no charge. Each personalized tile will be added to a mobile wall that will travel throughout the city of Grapevine. The goal is to collect at least 1,776 unique tiles honoring veterans and active-duty service members spanning 250 years, from 1776 to 2026. The completed wall will be officially unveiled during Memorial Day celebrations next year.
Tiles may be done during our regular hours.
Select a tile
The Museum will have tiles with soldiers or eagles etched on them. You may then decorate the tile.
Personalize
You may add the name, branch of service and era the person served.

Some tiles have extra room for messages or facts.
Tiles done in person are free. Can't make it to Grapevine and want to participate? Contact the office. With donation of $5 per tile, a member of our staff will complete your tile for you.
