And so much more....

A great example of "so much more" came last year thanks to a grant from the Texas Commission on the Arts. Some members received $50 toward supplies to paint a piece for our Texas Western Heritage Exhibit housed at the IPAT Museum of Porcelain Art in Grapevine, Texas.

Enter On-Line Competitons

In the past IPAT held competitions at its biennial convention, now it is online so all members may participate.  It is not just for a first prize for overall technique.  You are your own competitor.  This is your chance to have your art evaluated by top artists.  You may enter with a traditional porcelain painting or with a mixed media piece.

Register for Paintings for Posterity

IPAT has a unique database where registered member artists are assigned a number to place on their works.  They then have the option of submitting a biography to the office to keep on file.  Should anyone buy a piece with their number on it, that person can contact IPAT to learn about the artist.

Teaching Opportunities

Looking for teaching opportunities to hone your skills, build your resume or CV, or fill your requirements for certification?   Our members teach Zoom classes, in addition to workshops at our Convention and at our Museum.

Submit articles for publication

Our magazine and newsletter have two sources for articles--the editorial staff and our members.  Show off your art or share your knowledge with a study.

Do you live in area far away from teachers or other painters?  Have you ever wanted to learn from a teacher on the other side of the world?  Well you can for free and from your own home!  Members can attend our Zoom lessons live and interact with instructors.
